Into the Wild...

First I read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. John Krakauer is a great writer and the research that went into the book is incredible. He really draws you into the lives of the people that he writes about which ultimately makes it feel like a personal tragedy that has occurred. I was excited to see the movie and how they would have interpreted the book. I think they did a good job I think. I left the cinema feeling sad and drained. The tragedy was even harder I feel with the visual element, the torture that he felt at the end and the small mistake that cost him his life is so sad.
However, although it sounds depressing I recommend all to read and watch, as it is insightful and inspirational. Hope you enjoy!
